Buses at Da Caves

Labour Day 2007 marked the "Buses at Da Caves" VW camping event at Warsaw Caves, near Peterborough. Warsaw Caves, owned by the Otonabee Conservation Authority, is a great place to check out. The event took place in the Group Camping area, but there are many individual campsites as well. There are hiking trails, caves, kettles, and a river for exploration. Over 30 buses attended this weekend event. We arrived early and got a prime spot near the fire. We chose to leave Ashley at the Kennel, which was a bit disappointing at times, but it did allow us a little more freedom than usual. We spent the weekend biking, caving, hiking, and we even got to ride on Vanessa's boss' 30' Chris-Craft in Clear and Stony Lakes!
